Meet the RCC Team!

Meet Renee!

A native of the Philadelphia area, Renee spent her early years keeping things organized, making lists, and generally taking charge in group settings. Her life was full of activity with cheerleading, band, part-time jobs, and other extracurriculars dominating her after-school world. From an early age, she learned the value of time management.

Renee graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Several years later, she returned and obtained a Certification in Project Management.

As a social person, full of joy and always finding a reason to celebrate life, wedding and event coordination seemed to be a natural extension of Renee’s talents. In order to prove it to herself, she took began working with a wedding planning company where she planned, coordinated and assisted with events for nearly three years, loving every minute of her labors. Given her organized mind and disciplined personal nature, Renee found coordinating and planning events to be both a challenge and personal passion. Her interactions with the couples, their families and their guests and seeing personal dreams come to life during events, Renee realized her primary purpose in life was to help others create perfection.

After 3.5 years working with someone else, Renee formed RCC Weddings & Events and her dream came true!

As the owner of RCC, Renee is well established within the industry and is a certified wedding planner who stays current with trends by attending numerous webinars and educational series throughout the year.

On a more personal note, Renee is enthusiastic about domestic animal rescue. She has saved and rehomed numerous animals over the years. She takes great pleasure in spending quality time with her husband and their fleet of cats. Renee also loves to host family and friends at their home. Always up for a new adventure or personal challenge, Renee is known to make homemade limoncello during the holidays and likes to relax with a glass wine or taking an art class of some sort (sometimes combining the two)!

“Renee was incredibly professional and responsive to all of our questions and concerns! I highly recommend Renee to anyone looking for a dedicated, organized, and wonderful planner!” Jennifer and Mike, Wedding at Swan Harbor Farm

“Renee was absolutely an invaluable asset on our wedding day. We hired her as our day of coordinator but the support she offered went way past that. We spoke so highly of her after one meeting that my mother-in-law also decided to have her help out with the rehearsal dinner/welcome party.” – Amanda and David, Wedding at Celebrations at The Bay

Meet Rachel!

Rachel has been a part of RCC Weddings & Events since our first year of existence.

She has a keen eye for detail and an impeccable sense of organization!

Rachel worked in the hospitality industry for over 15 years and specialized in the coordination and execution of events.  After being involved with her first official wedding in 2011, she took a special interest in wedding coordination. Needless to say, it quickly became a passion.

When Rachel isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her adorable five year old daughter.

Meet Lacey!

Lacey has been a part of the RCC Team since 2019.

From her very first wedding at Linganore Winecellars she displayed a talent for event management and is a tremendous asset to the RCC team.

By day, Lacey works in the Personnel Security field and received her degree in Criminal Justice from Mount Saint Mary’s University.

In her spare time, she educates men and women on hair care using the professional line of products from MONAT. When she isn’t working, you can find her rooting for the Orioles, spending time with her fiancé and their children, and tending to her flock of chickens, their charming and equally spoiled dogs, Abby, Tanner and Cowboy.

Meet Chasity!

Chasity became part of the RCC team in 2020.

She is a Maryland native who for the last 13 years has been the compliance director for a law firm. Outside of the office she loves her plants and gardening and is known for her cooking skills and being the host for parties and dinners.

She adores her Goldendoodle, Chloe and enjoys binge watching TV and films (murder mysteries are her fav) and listening to podcasts on missing persons and related cold cases. She is the ultimate couch detective. Chasity will also admit her longstanding addiction to the QVC Network as well.

Although wine is her preferred evening drink, she collects exotic bourbon and has likely never turned down a margarita either.

She enjoys traveling when possible and loves helping to bring a couple’s perfect vision to life!

Meet Krista!

Krista joined the RCC team in January 2022.

She was born into the hospitality industry as her father owned two restaurants in the Baltimore region.  She began working there as a young adult and learned the ins and outs of interacting with people while also being exposed to the business side of things.  Krista can host and manage and do it all in the hospitality world.

She loves planning events and bringing someone’s vision to life.  It truly brings her a great amount of personal joy.

In her free time she spends time with her boyfriend, his daughter and their adorable puppy!  She also enjoys crafting, decoration and taking on new projects that will challenge her.

Krista is a graduate of Mercy High School in Baltimore and attended Baltimore County Community College.

Meet Gabby!

Gabby joined RCC in 2022.

She is a Maryland native who has worked in the accounting office as a payment specialist for an auto dealership since she was 16.

Gabby and her fiance Garrett currently have three dogs: George the chocolate lab, Bentley the bulldog, and Ceasar the golden retriever.  Gabby and Garrett are due to tie the knot in June of 2023.

In her spare time, Gabby is a devoted fan of college football, especially the University of Tennessee Volunteers who occupy a lot of her autumn Saturday afternoons.  Her all-time favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls.  She loves it so much that her wedding date is June 3rd!  And while most people look forward to the weekend, Gabby has a particular fondness for margarita Mondays.

Gabby has the knack needed to succeed in the wedding business and hopes to help bring out the joy in the event where memories will last a lifetime for both couple and guests.

Meet Lisa!

Lisa started with RCC in 2018.

Lisa was exposed to the food and restaurant industry from day one as her family operated food stores and eateries along the Charles Street corridor for more than 70 years.  As a youngster she learned about the importance of sincere hospitality, great customer service, and making each person feel special.

After graduating from Towson University, Lisa worked with her sister in the catering world for several years.  She loves to prepare food, cook and make sure that great food is part of any event.

She is the founder and CEO of Lisa Anne’s Decadent Gifts which is most famous for their toffee apples and food.  Lisa’s creations have been featured in national magazines, on home shopping and food networks and she has won numerous local awards for her delicious offerings.  She also formerly owned/operated a tea room in Charles Village with her late mother, Theresa.  Her smiling face and devotion to her customers made that venture a great success as well during its existence.

Lisa’s attention to details and meticulous preparation and review skills have added another dimension to RCC especially in décor set up and wedding planning.  Her success in the small business world provides a model that RCC tries to mimic with time.

A lifelong Baltimore area resident, Lisa enjoys spending time with her beloved pets and rooting for her Orioles.  Being of Italian descent, she also enjoys great food and wine and spending time with those who are close to her heart.

Meet Peter!

Words from Renee: Peter is a vital, yet behind the scenes RCC team member. He also happens to be my husband! Without his love and support, RCC Weddings & Events would not be possible. RCC’s success is due, in large part to his constant love, consistent support, and creative descriptions for social media postings.

In addition to his full-time job in the legal world, Peter is the Volunteer Coordinator at the Babe Ruth Birthplace & Museum, a member of the Orioles Designated Hitters volunteer sales force, and the President of the Baltimore Chapter of SABR.  He loves spending time at the ballpark or at home with his wife and cats.  He and Renee have been married since 2013.
